A private-room Korean BBQ dinner in Seoul: Seolya’s room capacity limits

Seolya Galbi is a possible private-room Korean BBQ venue in Seoul, but its 88 seats should not be mistaken for the size of one closed dining room. The official private-dining page lists just three rooms. For a team dinner, the binding constraints are the number of people in each room, the charge conditions and whether the particular room is actually available on the chosen date.

Three rooms do not form one large room

There is one room designed for four guests and two rooms designed for six. A party of seven or more therefore needs a separate conversation about ordinary tables or multiple spaces, rather than assuming it can fit in one private room. Online reservations are offered for two to six people, but the booking range alone does not guarantee which room will be assigned. Ask the restaurant to confirm the room explicitly if privacy is the reason for booking.

Read the room charge separately from the food bill

The official terms list a KRW 40,000 charge when two or three guests use a room. The four-person room charge is waived at a bill of KRW 400,000 or more; the six-person threshold is KRW 500,000. These are waiver thresholds, not mandatory course prices per guest. Estimate meat from the menu's weight unit, then add any individual meal dishes and drinks before deciding whether a particular room arrangement fits the budget.

Confirm the evening schedule

The live shop page currently lists dinner from 17:30 until 22:00, last order at 21:00, with lunch temporarily suspended. Staff grilling at the table is also described as part of service. A group arriving late should confirm order timing and the room reservation together. These checks can make Seolya a better-defined option, but no public page can promise room availability for a future date without a confirmed booking.
